We are nothing without our people. Meet the people who make Lighthouse a reality.
Meet Chris Creech. Chris is a licensed electrician and lead service technician for Lighthouse. Before getting into the Solar Industry, he received a bachelor of science in Applied Sociology (Philosophy Minor) at Texas State University. Most importantly, he met his wife, Clarissa, now a public school teacher at AISD and a enthusiastic partner in their bright adventure.
Chris and Clarissa recently purchased their first home and now spend most of their free time renovating it. When they have the chance, they love to go see live music. As a former professional musician, Chris muses, "I know how difficult it can be, and love to support our local artists. They make the city what it is." He adds, "For all of us out in the field, we may be saving the planet; but we’re truly here to provide for our families. The folks in our industry are some of the toughest I've met."
Chris believes that our team's kindness and commitment to quality work sets Lighthouse apart, even when no one's watching. "As a service tech, this allows me to focus on helping all solar customers, not just our own installs. Having spent nearly 7 years in the solar industry, I've seen companies create unrealistic expectations. What keeps me at Lighthouse is our dedication to taking care of customers, offering practical solutions, and helping them understand their systems better. While in my current capacity, I don't make the same sounds I did as a musician, my work at Lighthouse produces melodies I can be proud of."
Chris would like to give a shout-out to his late mother’s non-profit, Killeen Creators (IG: killeen_creators), which combats food insecurity, PTSD, and disenfranchisement through community initiatives.
